Winning An Argument

My wife is a psychology professor at the local university and it seems that every time we get into a discussion she starts to reverse everything on me and brings up things that happen two.. even three years ago.

She is like remember when this happened or that happened. She is obviously smarter than I am especially when it comes to expressing ourselves in an arguement. I usually just give up and let her have her way because it's just not worth it.

I know this is the wrong path to take but it just seems that I can't win in a verbal arguement with her. What can I say or do to prevent her from reversing the situation and using her profession and training to ultimately win arguements?
