Never Frightened

I happen to know this man for the last 34 years. He's now 53, and I NEVER, EVER saw him get frightened. I mean, even when he was involved in a car crash, even when something very dangerous happened...he is never scared.

When something like that happens, while everybody around is astonished, paralyzed etc, there he is, perfectly calm and self-possessed. Always under control, always knowing the right thing to do.

Is it normal?
