Is This A Psychology Question

I can't watch anyone getting embarrassed or do something stupid. I close my eyes or turn off the TV. My mum dosen't mind when people make a fool of themselves on TV she says "its their choice...they did it" and I think thats right but i still can't watch it....it's normal...right?
