My son is 4 years of age and he is in pre k, he has got really close to one person and at the end of this month his little friend will be moving out of town due to his father being in the Army.
It hurts/upsets me because I know how it feels to be close to someone one day and the next they are gone never to see them again and I don't want my son to feel that pain, even though I know that is a part of life.
I guess what I'm asking is, is it normal for me to be so upset just because I don't want my son to feel any pain?
