The Children's Growthbook Journal, book cover and description

Children have the ability to learn and grow in so many ways but there are some key areas of social and emotional learning that are necessary to support children's growth including self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision making, social awareness, and relationship skills.

In this growth book, children will have the opportunity to learn and practice these skills in fun, affirming, and creative ways that are developmentally appropriate and promote being stretched in the best ways. They will find 30 affirmations made just for them and 10 social and emotional learning skills that are practical and useful. Bet on the children in your life by taking this growth journey with them, or giving them the opportunity to do so!

A Word From The Author

Monique Williams, LCSW Latest Image

I am a mental health therapist, a woman, wife, mom, and more. Most important, I'm someone who understands the stress and pressure that comes with being a Sun-kissed woman, and the expectations placed on us to focus on caring for everyone else before we care for ourselves. I can help you learn a different way to prioritize how you take care of yourself first. I’m a licensed mental health therapist who is passionate about working with sun-kissed women to identify and define their strengths and goals, as well as to "redefyne" the narrative of strength.

I have been providing mental health therapy for 10+ years and have been a helping professional for 15+ years. I obtained my degrees from North Carolina Central University and the University of Pennsylvania. My background includes Counseling/Clinical Social Work domestically and internationally (United Kingdom).

My work is a very personal experience for me. My goal and passion is in helping other Sun-kissed women understand that it's okay not to have it all together, and it's okay to take care of yourself first and still be who you want and need to be, for those you love and support. I use my skills, training, and experience to provide knowledge and tools for those I work with and for those who choose not to (or are unable to) access therapy - we all deserve support. Thank you for allowing me to support you! Learn more at www.strengthredefyned.com, connect with me on LinkedIn and see following link for details of my other published Growthbook Journal.
