Dr. Giacomo Bono is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at California State University Dominguez Hills. An expert in positive youth development, prosocial behavior, well-being and interpersonal relationships in family, school, and community contexts, his research has appeared in U.S. News and World Report, the Huffington Post, Health Magazine, and Youth Radio.
Together with Jeffrey Froh, Psy.D., Dr. Giacomo is working on research funded by the John Templeton Foundation to examine the measurement of gratitude in children and teens, developmental factors of gratitude, and intervention strategies and applications for promoting gratitude in youth.

In conjunction with The Greater Good Science Center at the University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Giacomo Bono is spearheading The Youth Gratitude Project, the broad aims of which are to 'broadly understand key determinants of gratitude, its assessment, and its benefits and promotion early on in human development.'
