Whenever I get into a tough spot I freeze. Form actual fights to a fight in my dream, when I realize that there's going to be a fight, my heart starts beating fast and I can't move or think.

Even if I know I can beat the other individual if I wanted, I just cant move. I get the same reaction for people who shout around me or specially at me, even if it's not related to me I freeze. It's really strange because I can't pull myself out of it.

I think it's fear because I was beaten up often as a kid but i'm not sure.

What is this?

Why is this?

And what can I do to overcome it?
