Hi, can someone please explain how to calculate the following?

The PDI has a mean of 50 and a standard deviation of 10. Using that information, answer the question below.

What PDI score would Sarah have if she scored 1 standard deviation above the mean?

Hi, The answer is 60 which is calculated this way : 50 + 10 = 60. The reason is : One standard deviation = 10 scores mean = 50 So one deviation above the mean means 10 scores above the mean. That's all.
