Excessive Behavior

Can excessive behavior be a mental or psychological problem? Not meaning excessive in drinking or eating or anything in particular but doing everything excessively?

It seems that when I look at whatever I do it is always to the extreme. Sometimes I even put off doing things because it’s going to be too big of an effort.

How or where do I get help with this?

is it wrong
by: Anonymous

Well, I was wondering is it wrong when you strive to do too much for others, but then come to find out that they don't appreciate the things you do.

All depends on your definition of excessive. Do these excessive activities harm your overall functioning? Your best bet is to find a behavioral counselor in your area. It will really help. Best of luck.
