Abnormal Behavior

Why does a 84 yr. old remove a special hyacinth plant treasured by his wife, (planted as a gift) and make it appear nothing had ever been planted there before and not tell anyone why/when he did it, he continues to deny that he was the one who did it?


This is just one of many scenarios, ex: throwing an empty tooth paste tube down the toilet with the rest of the contents of the bathroom trash container and never owning up to it!

This has gone on for many years, and I am really concerned for my mother's welfare and sanity. Any thoughts on this?
